On September 2nd, Six Flags Magic Mountain announced that the countdown is on for the removal of Deja Vu. Deja Vu will be relocated to Six Flags New England in 2012, where it will be renamed Goliath. It has not been announced when the last day to ride Deja Vu is, but we will update you when we know.
Deja Vu was one of our favorite coasters at SFMM, but it suffered a lot of downtime. Usually it would be down every off-season for annual maintenance, so you could only ride it it late Spring and Summer. Vekoma's Giant Inverted Boomerang design (Deja Vu) had many flaw and many modifications had to be made to open the attraction. It was becoming very expensive to maintain, and this is why Six Flags will never purchase a coaster from Vekoma again.
What did you think about Deja Vu? Do you want it to go? Comment on this post and let us know.
